José Aguiñaga, Ed.D., a first-generation Chicano college graduate, has been an academic librarian for over 28 years. As of July 2022, he began a new career opportunity as an Assistant Professor with the School of Information at San José State University. José's research focus will be the community college libraries, with a focus on reference services, organizational culture, and EDI.
